Dear Parents,

We would like to officially welcome all of you to another academic year. We hope that 2021 brings collaboration and the ability to tackle challenges we face daily. Also, I hope all students and their families had a fantastic holiday and they are happy to be back at school, with enthusiasm and keenness to learn new things.

This year, I am teaching Arabic from Year 2 to Year 6 and also doing Year 2 Integrated Studies.

In Term 1, each year level is studying different topics, such as

Year 2 are covering, ‘What is your name?”;
Year 3, “At the bookshop” and “Food”;
Year 4, “Greetings” and “Good morning”;
Year 5, “Going to the Beach” and
Year 6, “First Day at School”.

To help our primary students with their learning and education, the Language Team have worked very hard on a learning program “Quizlet” for students to use. Students will be assigned a language lesson every Monday.

We would appreciate it if every parent could encourage their child to complete the activities on time.

The lessons will be a “Quizlet” vocabulary, comprehension tasks and YouTube videos, all of these will be available through MYED online which is connected to SEQTA.

I look forward to a great year working with your children and helping them be successful in their 2021 education.
